Remodeled white shaker kitchen with black hardware, speckled counters, and a wood-look floor opening to the living room, Charlotte NC

White Kitchen Remodel

A dated oak kitchen taken back to a clean white-shaker remodel: new cabinetry, counters, and flooring, with the dividing wall opened to the living room.

Charlotte, NC

The build

The kitchen started as dark oak cabinets, a wallpaper border, and a vinyl-tile floor. The layout worked, so the footprint stayed and everything else came out.

It came back in white shaker cabinetry with black bar pulls, speckled stone counters, and a wood-look plank floor that carries through to the living room. The dividing wall was opened up so the kitchen shares daylight from the window over the sink with the next room, and a new black appliance package with a stainless microwave finishes it off.
